Tomas Bata University in Zlín & Technical University of Ostrava

Titan is a unique scientific R&D project focused on the development of a four-seat electric supercar created in Czechia. The exterior and interior design originated as a doctoral dissertation by Rostislav Zapletal at Tomas Bata University in Zlín. The vehicle features innovative solutions, including an integrated pressure wing concealed within the bumper that increases downforce without added aerodynamic drag. Side air intakes are designed to cool the battery system, and the slim Matrix headlights were developed in collaboration with PO Lighting Czech, Inc.

The car was manufactured by scientists from the Technical University of Ostrava, with individual components developed as part of student diploma projects. SC Titan is unique in its complete in-house development of the body, interior, drivetrain, and chassis, which were tested at the Tatra Proving Ground. The body combines carbon fibre composites with 3D-printed components. The project was funded by the Technology Agency of the Czech Republic.

For 20 years, our cars have been known as StudentCar. Now we unveil our latest creation: the Titan.
